In particular we have been very pleased with the expertise and personal involvement you have provided on each project. It has been very gratifying to hear such positive comments from our tenants and their complete satisfaction with their new offices. One Fifty Metcalfe is an "A" class office tower and you have always made it your goal to maintain this level of quality.
I would like to take this opportunity to express to you my appreciation and personal congratulations for the quality of work you performed in the long process of restoration and reconstruction of our new complex at 306 Metcalfe Street. I am particularly pleased by the expertise you reinstated the splendour and beauty of the heritage characters of Birkett Castle, which, as a result will become a Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in Ottawa for the future. My colleagues and I are also fully satisfied with the particular functionality of the Embassy section, which will thus become a comfortable place to work.
Your effort in achieving the occupancy date was certainly a challenge from the start. Your persistence with City officials from site plan approval to permits was exceptional considering that the City Departments were in turmoil from the amalgamation of local offices.
As you were aware, our occupancy date was critical to our internal operations relying on a key date. To this effect, I would also like to extend a special thanks to Paul for his effort in achieving this deadline. Paul was definitely a factor in this success.
